In a little historical wine-shop in the center of Florence you'll be served top level wines, representing the best production of Tuscan wines of quality , together with home made cold cuts, extra virgin olive oil bruschette, delicious home made croutons and a selection of the best Tuscan pecorino cheese served with tasty jams. Guided by the experience and passion of Francesco and Sara, you will taste typical products and valuable wines coming exclusively from high quality, small scale Tuscan production that can be hardly found elsewhere:
-Vernaccia of San Gimignano. White superior from the siena area, classic and unique, dry and still, smooth, 100% from San Gimignano grape.
This wine comes with toasted tuscan bread (bruschette) served with extra virgin olive oil from florentine hills, and a selection of extra virgin chilli/porcini mushrooms/truffle flavoured olive oil.
-White Vermentino from the Maremma hills area, auburn, dry, still and medium-bodied, 100% from Vermentino grape.
This wine comes with tre kinds of pecorino cheese with different maturation and with jams of Vin Santo, Vernaccia, Chianti Classico and truffled flavoured honey.
-2006 Chianti classico, red wine coming from the famous hills where the Chianti classico is produced, dry and full-bodied, 85% Sangiovese grape and 15% Colorino of black Malvasia.
This wine comes with typical tuscan cold cuts from Casentino: tuscan matured ham, classic tuscan salame, "finocchiona" salame and mixed croutons (tomato and mozzarella cheese, livers sauce, truffle and cheese, fresh tomatoes).
